Responsibilities:
Our 10-bed unit handles a wide range of cases, from mild scald burns to high-acuity trauma and complex wound care. We are also actively involved in burn research and evidence-based practice, giving you the opportunity to grow clinically and professionally.
We're seeking a passionate and driven Assistant Nurse Manager to help lead our dynamic Burn team at Community Regional Medical Center. This is more than just a job - it's a chance to make a meaningful impact in the lives of burn survivors and their families. In this fast-paced and rewarding environment, you'll collaborate with a close-knit, interdisciplinary team at the Leon S. Peters Burn Center - the only American Burn Association (ABA) Verified Burn Center in the Central Valley. As a Level 1 Burn Center serving both adult and pediatric patients, we provide 24/7 comprehensive burn care and are recognized for clinical excellence and advanced treatment protocols.
As the Assistant Nurse Manager, you'll take the leadership and administrative skills you developed in your time at the bedside, and use them to support a top performing team.

Qualifications:
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and support nursing staff to ensure high performance and professional growth.
Oversee daily operations, including admissions, discharges, and shift handoffs, to ensure seamless patient care.
Manage staffing schedules and assignments based on patient needs and regulatory standards.
Facilitate team communication and collaborate with other departments to resolve operational issues.
Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and guide staff development.
Contribute to quality improvement and ensure operational compliances.
Qualifications:
RN - Current and valid Registered Nurse license to work within the state of California required
BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
Certifications as required for the unit.
Strong clinical experince in nursing; previous leadership or supervisory experience is highly preferred.
