Overview of Assistant Men's Basketball Coach and Facilities Events Coordinator - Serve as Assistant Men's Basketball Coach reporting to the Head Men's Basketball Coach.
- Assist head coach in the planning, organizing, and coaching of the basketball team.
- Other responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting the head coach with recruiting, academic oversight, fundraising, and coordinating camps and coaching clinics, assisting with team travel and equipment check out and return.
- Maintain knowledge and enforce NCAA rules and regulations.
- Assist with athletic facilities and events reporting to the Assistant Athletic Director for Facilities and Assistant Athletic Director for Sports Information, Marketing, and Event Management.
- Plan, organize, schedule and execute utilization of athletic facilities and athletic / recreational / intramural / club sport events.
- Assist with the event set up and breakdown for athletic, university and external events at the Fitness and Recreation Center (FRC) and Dowling Park (DP - limited to athletic events located in Hammond, IN; and Dworkin Student Services and Activities Complex (DSAC) located in Westville, IN.
- Serve as Game Day Manager for athletic events at FRC, DSAC, or DP and serve as liaison for visiting teams and officials. Schedule and coordinate utilization of PNW facilities for visiting team practice.
- Serve as daily Building Manager at FRC and DSAC.
- Schedule and oversee student staffing for athletic events and intramurals.
- Coordinate scheduling of camps and coaching clinics and oversee facility usage for camp.

Education of Assistant Men's Basketball Coach and Facilities Events Coordinator - Bachelor's degree required.
- Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Physical Education, Education, Fitness or related program is preferred.
Experience of Assistant Men's Basketball Coach and Facilities Events Coordinator - Two years basketball coaching, and athletic facilities/events experience required at the professional, college or high school level.

- Ability to lift and carry up to 10 lbs. frequently, and up to 20 lbs. occasionally.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must be able to use personal vehicle to drive on behalf of the University.
- Must meet the Minimum Driver Qualifications as defined by the Use of Vehicles for University Business Policy.
- As a part of the job responsibilities associated with this position, knowledge of rules and regulations set forth by the NCAA and conference should be maintained, reviewed and practiced ensuring compliance relative to those applicable duties.
