Responsibilities:
  • Complete training requirements, including the Zaxbys Assistant Manager Development Plan and Food Safety Certification.
  • Enhance guest experiences by exceeding expectations.
  • Train and coach team members to ensure their success.
  • Develop and manage work schedules in line with company standards.
  • Lead and supervise the team to achieve operational goals.
  • Uphold service, product quality, and cleanliness standards.
  • Address performance issues with your General Manager.
  • Mentor team members and assist in their reviews.
  • Foster a positive team culture through recognition and leadership.
  • Handle guest and team member complaints respectfully and timely.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and operational standards.
  • Maintain accurate records using management tools.
  • Promote a safe work environment by following safety guidelines.
  • Report HR and risk management concerns promptly.
  • Perform other duties as needed to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
  • Open availability with a minimum of 32 to 48 hours per week.
  • Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Successful completion of a background check.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • 1-3 years of management experience; restaurant management preferred.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to sit, stand, or walk continuously.
  • Occasional stooping, bending, or climbing, including ladder use.
  • Frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Continuous hand and wrist use for tasks.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Able to respond to environmental cues.
  • Work in varied temperatures and exposure to food allergens.
  • Safely operate restaurant equipment, including knives and fryers.
