Job Summary:

We are seeking a Assistant Manager to temporarily join the NA Marketing team for a reputable beauty brand located in New York, NY. This role will start in June 2025 and will end in December 2025, helping to cover a parental leave. The role will be part time hours, 30 hours per week. The Assistant Manager will be operating off a hybrid schedule on-site 3x per week in their corporate office located in New York, NY.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide program support in collaboration with Global, NOAM teams, Trade Marketing, Account Management, Creative, Online, and Consumer Engagement
  • Identify new product concepts and commercialization opportunities based on market analysis and competitive activity
  • Support long-range planning and identify growth opportunities through the Merchandise Financial Planning process
  • Identify strategic market opportunities and develop market-specific elements with cross-functional teams
  • Support with development of new product and creative briefings to be shared with senior leadership and cross-functional teams
  • Lead execution of launch strategies and oversee test & learn programs
  • Drive merchandising and collateral development, ensuring projects meet communication, cost, and timeline objectives
  • Partner on COG, pricing, and ROI analysis for new product launches
  • Develop seasonal marketing grids and manage forecasts with Demand Planning, Sales, and Finance

Qualifications:

  • Product or Brand Marketing NOAM experience with cosmetics experience
  • Creative and conceptual
  • Specifically with NPD reporting and forecasting
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills
  • Excellent team player with the ability to build, foster and nurture relationships with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently
  • Excellent written/oral communications and presentation skills
  • Strong computer skills
  • Highly proficient in Excel (VLookups, XLookups, Pivot Tables, Etc.)
  • Highly proficient in Power Point
  • Comfortable working within a complex, large, fast-paced environment
