Job overview and responsibilities Maintenance Delay Administration is responsible for maintenance delay reporting processes and analytical tools to assess the operational performance of United Airline's Technical Operation. The Assistant Manager-Maintenance Delay Administration improves operational reliability by identifying maintenance events, delays and cancellations. Manages and supervises the India Knowledge Center (IKC) Maintenance Delay Admin employees.
- Responsible for and supervises the Maintenance Delay department IKC employees and programs
- Reviews delay, significant event, and cancellation information submitted by Maintenance Delay IKC, Line Maintenance, Maintenance Control, Network Operations Control and Airport Operations personnel
- Coordinates with Technical Operations departments, Line Maintenance, Network Operations Control and Airport Operations departments in regard to maintenance delays, significant events and cancellations
- Oversees and reviews the maintenance delays, significant events and cancellations utilizing aircraft history and delay codes daily
- Ensures compliance with GMM policy and procedures and FAA regulations
- Compiles and distributes the daily Maintenance Cancellation and Maintenance D&C Reports which identifies maintenance operation issues, aircraft reliability, STAR and station performance
- Compiles, distributes and chairs the weekly ETOPS Report conference call
- Oversees and ensures maintenance delay, cancellation and event information is properly recorded in AMTS, Sceptre and the United Data Hub (UDH)
- Assists the Maintenance Delay Manager and performs additional tasks as required
- Assists with maintaining the Maintenance Delay recording program (AMTS) and restricted access
Qualifications What's needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications): - High school diploma or equivalent
- Aviation Maintenance Management or Administration or equivalent work experience
- 2 year recording and/or reporting and/or analytical work experience
- 2 years Technical Operations or Technical Services experience
- Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word), Sceptre, TOCS, Volare, Turbo and technical operations programs and required manuals
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications): - Bachelor's degree or related experience
- Aircraft airframe and/or powerplant technician (A&P) license or equivalent
- Two years aircraft maintenance experience
- Technical Operations delay and cancel reporting and the AMTS Delay/Cancel Recording webpage
The base pay range for this role is $79,800.00 to $108,790.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
