Your Role: As an Assistant Manager, you play a key role in ensuring guests have exceptional experiences while upholding our operational standards. Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete training requirements including the Assistant Manager Development Plan, Food Safety Certification, and any other training mandated by Zax LLC.
  • Enhance guest experiences by guiding team members to exceed expectations.
  • Ensure proper training for team members, coupled with ongoing coaching and development.
  • Create effective work schedules adhering to company standards and local regulations.
  • Plan and communicate shift assignments, adjusting as necessary.
  • Lead and motivate team members to achieve performance goals.
  • Maintain service, product quality, and cleanliness standards.
  • Address performance concerns with the General Manager.
  • Assist in performance reviews and support team member development.
  • Foster a positive workplace culture and morale through recognition.
  • Timely handle and report any guest or employee concerns respectfully.
  • Ensure adherence to all policies and operational standards.
  • Utilize management tools to maintain organized and accurate records.
  • Perform additional tasks necessary for the successful operation of the restaurant.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation.
  • Open availability to work a minimum of 5 days and between 32 to 48 hours each week.
  • Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Successful completion of a background check.
  • Leadership qualities, organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively.
  • 1-3 years management experience, preferably in a restaurant setting.
Physical Requirements:
  • Able to sit, stand, and walk continuously.
  • Occasionally bend, squat, or climb using ladders.
  • Lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Use hands for grasping and fine manipulation continuously.
  • Effectively communicate in speech and writing.
  • Maintain awareness of the environment and respond appropriately.
  • Work in varying temperature conditions and manage exposure to food allergens.
  • Safely operate restaurant equipment.
