Job Details: One of Insight Global's clients in California is looking for a compassionate and driven licensed Physical Therapist to provide exceptional patient care experiences. Responsibilities Understand appropriate state practice acts and adhere to the laws which govern how physical therapists may practice and whom physical therapists may supervise. Complete and maintain all corporate & clinical services required training and maintain compliance with state/local/federal regulations. Evaluate, treat, and direct treatment for patients for whom physical therapy is medically necessary and document this need clearly. Maintain open and respectful communication with co-workers, physicians, patients, family members, and third-party payors at all times. Attend and/or participate in facility meetings as directed by the center manager. Day to Day: 12 patients a day, 60 a week, about 2 per hour All outpatient orthopedic clinics but each clinic has a specialty ranging from pelvic, vestibular concussions, pediatrics, heavily Medicare locations are Monterey, Menlo, where they do balance gate work, Sports based, etc. See what the candidate is comfortable with and not comfortable with because the client is flexible. Does not need to work with all ages but see experience here They typically won't need to float to clinics, but there's a small chance they might need to float or work part-time. If they do float, the clinics are very close by. They will be paid for 40 hours of work, but any additional time spent on documentation will not be compensated. For the first two weeks, they will have 2 hours per day dedicated to documentation to help them get accustomed to it. After that, they will be responsible for documentation on their own time, without additional pay. Experience Open to new grads and 20+ years of experience, anyone with a license. Education Qualifications Must be a graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) accredited school of physical therapy Valid State Physical Therapy License required Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required. Compensation $46/hr to $51/hr Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
