PURPOSE OF POSITION: An Administrative Assistant, Finance and Grants at Catholic Charities:
- Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, invoices, receipts, and other financial documents.
- Occasional transportation of mail and deposits.
- Enter financial and award data into accounting systems or spreadsheets, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure that all financial documents are properly filed and accessible for easy retrieval.
- Monitoring and tracking the email account for awards, ensuring that all incoming emails and documents are reviewed, categorized, flagged for appropriate action, and distributed to the relevant key contacts within the organization.
- Ensure accuracy in document handling and communications and all necessary steps are taken in a timely manner.
- Collaborates and fosters good working relationships with internal and external clients/ vendors to ensure our business needs are met.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Participates effectively as a team member through communication, cooperation, information sharing and problem solving.
- Participates in staff trainings as required.
- Participate in Division programming as appropriate.
- Any other tasks or duties as assigned.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS - Demonstrated understanding of Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
- Experience with accounting software is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
- Ability to work effectively within the framework of Catholic teachings.
- Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High school diploma or equivalent required, college or technical school in related field; and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Valid CO driver's license, satisfactory driving record and proof of insurance required.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:Salary: $19.00-$21.00/hour

- Shift is Full Time, in person, Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00 pm
