About the Role:

The Assistant Parts Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of the parts department within the retail trade industry. This position is responsible for supporting the Parts Manager in overseeing inventory management, customer service, and staff training. The ultimate goal is to enhance customer satisfaction by providing timely and accurate parts availability while maintaining optimal stock levels. The Assistant Parts Manager will also contribute to the development of sales strategies to increase parts revenue. By fostering a collaborative environment, this role aims to streamline processes and improve overall departmental performance.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a retail or parts department environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with inventory management software.
  • Knowledge of HONDA automotive parts and accessories.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Parts Manager in managing daily operations of the parts department.
  • Oversee inventory control, including ordering, receiving, and stocking parts.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
  • Train and mentor staff on best practices for parts sales and inventory management.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends and recommend strategies for improvement.
