Previous high school coaching experience is recommended. The coach will assist the varsity coach in all aspects of the program and will be responsible for a sub-varsity team.

The applicant must be able to display the following attributes:

  • A strong ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders.
  • Skilled in organization, time management and a commitment to the vision of the Sherwood Athletic Program.
  • A great understanding of the training, skill development and coaching techniques involved in high school soccer.
  • The ability to generate excitement and enthusiasm for the sport of soccer throughout the community.
  • A commitment to the importance of academic excellence and achivement for all student-athletes in the program.
