Summary
The Assistant General Manager works with patients, ensures the team adheres to policies and procedures, supervises team members, oversees dispensary operations, and ensures a wonderful patient experience.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Provides a wonderful experience for the patient.
- Advises patients on suitable cannabis products based on their needs, preferences, budgets, and reactions to different strains of cannabis.
- Keeps abreast of new cannabis products on the market as well as the latest industry trends.
- Processes patient's payments using the dispensary's Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Ensures that the store is clean and well-organized at all times.
- Ensures company policies and procedures are followed.
- Hires, trains, and supports new employees.
- Resolve customer issues.
- Provides leadership and direction to all employees.
- Works closely with the general manager.
- Ensures an excellent standard of customer service is upheld.
- Maintains the store to high standards, includes stocking products and regular cleaning.
- Completes tasks assigned by the general manager accurately and efficiently.
- Takes inventory of cannabis products and ensures that the sales floor is adequately stocked.
- Maintains compliance by following the proper policies and procedures set by the company and the state.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two to three years of experience working as a budtender, supervisor, AGM, or GM.
- Ability to pass a background check and receive a facility agent card from the state.
- Sound knowledge of cannabis strains and their medicinal benefits.
- Outstanding organizational skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Work well with other team-members.
- Be self-motivated and possess the desire for self-development.
- Ability to work autonomously when required
- Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of standing and walking throughout the retail space. Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times.
