Compensation & Benefits

Starting hourly rate $18- $22 and hour


Regular schedule includes approximately 35 hours a week (Not to exceed 40 hours a week ). Hours will include days, evenings and an occasional Saturday.


Additional hours - additional hours may be required under special circumstances, which may include but are not limited to: parades, health fairs, open house events, community fundraising events and coverage for other employees due to vacation and/or illness.


Bonus / profit sharing- a discretionary semi-annual bonus / profit sharing (paid in July and December) will be evaluated by ownership. In order to be considered for any profit sharing distribution, employee must be employed as of the pay period the bonus is awarded,


Reviews of performance - employee is subject to a 90-day probationary period and will receive an interim review at 30 days after the beginning of employment and another assessment after 90 days. An annual review will be performed at the end of each calendar year.


Other Benefits:


Vacation - After completion of a 90-day probationary period the employee will receive 5 days paid vacation per calendar year. Vacation days will be paid at a rate of 7 hours for the day. Any unused vacation days at the end of the calendar year will be forfeited. In the event of separation of employment the vacation days will be prorated (based on the last complete month worked) for the time employed during the calendar year. Any vacation days taken in excess of the accrued days will be withheld from the final pay. All requested vacation days must be submitted for approval. After completion of 2 years full-time employment the employee will receive an additional 5 days of paid vacation.

Continued Education: Ultra-Fit Enterprises will assist the employee with additional training, certifications and continuing education courses under the following terms: the employee must receive prior approval from Ultra-Fit Enterprises for the desired training / certification. Upon receipt of proof of completion and a passing grade (when required) LJ's Fitness / Ultra-Fit Enterprises will reimburse the employee up to 50% of the cost of all approved certifications / trainings. If the employee leaves employment within one year of completion of any reimbursable training, certifications or continuing education programs the amount reimbursed by Ultra-Fit Enterprises will be due and payable from the employee. This amount will be withheld from the employee's final paycheck.


Simple IRA - Upon completion of the 90-day probationary period the employee will be eligible for participation in the employer sponsored Simple IRA program.


Responsibilities and expectations


Be able to effectively explain products and services to prospective and existing members. To include, but not limited to, memberships, personal training, nutrition consultation, LJ's Nutrition app, smoothies, apparel, supplements and accessories.


Ensure accurate submission of Insurance reimbursement information to all requirement companies the beginning of each month. Must be completed and submitted by the 5 th of the month.


Follow up with "inactive members" (clients that are paying members but have not visited the facility recently) according to membership follow up procedure


Notifying ownership of any customer suggestions, complaints and concerns. Effective implementation of any policies or changes resulting from the review of these issues.


Perform new member follow up and contact, per the new member contact and retention procedures.


Oversee and ensure that all data entry and Wellness Living tasks are completed in their entirety and accurately for each new client and existing clients.


Assist ownership in hiring and training of new and existing staff members in order to effectively offer products and services and perform effective follow up with members.


Insure the facility meets the standards set for cleanliness and appearance.


Working closely with ownership in the areas of:

o Expense control / cost saving ideas

o Organization and promotion of monthly and annual events, seasonal sales opportunities, fundraisers and holiday specials

o Revenue and profit growth - identify and implement revenue and business growth opportunities


Maintaining a current CPR, AED and First Aid certification


Various other duties as needed.


Pennsylvania is an at will employment state, and thus employment may be terminated at will by the employee or employer, at any time.


In the event of separation of employment the employee may not work for a competitor
