Required Skills & Abilities:- At least two years of previous direct experience as hotel Assistant Front Office Manager. At least three to four years direct experience as hotel Front Office Supervisor.
- Flexible to work AM and PM shifts, mid-shifts, holidays, weekends and overnight shifts as needed
- Problem Solver, Self-Starter, Customer Service Oriented, Problem Resolution
- High comfortability in working with computers
- Must be able to stand/walk for at least eight (8) hours
Job Description- Manage Front Office staff and daily operations of department
- Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner. Gather and analyze information skillfully and develop alternative solution.
- Manage and resolve challenging customer situations, respond promptly to customer needs and solicit customer feedback to improve service.
- Supervise Front Desk, Night Audit staff and ensure assigned duties, closing paperwork and money drops are accurately completed
- Work closely with Housekeeping and Engineering to control out-of-order and discrepant rooms
- Enforce hotel and department policies and procedures, train, develop, counsel, discipline and evaluate staff
- Work closely with Valet team members to ensure performance expectations are being met
- Ensure proper credit and cash bank procedures are consistently followed
- Maintain guest safety and handle emergency situations, as well as emergency evacuations
