What You'll Do: - Responsible for the Guest Experience, from arrival to departure
- Ensure compliance with all state, local and hotel policies and procedures, including guest information, billing, safety and security
- Staff training, development and scheduling
- Assist with group bookings and special arrangement for VIP guests.
- Manage reservation procedures, including room allocations and rate management
- Purchase operating and guest supplies
- Manage front desk operations, including cash handling, financial transactions, and inventory control
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
- Resolve guest issues and complaints efficiently and effectively
- Maintain excellent communication with guests, management, and staff
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor
Qualifications: - 2+ years Front Office leadership experience needed
- Emphasis on Front Office operations with a focus on the Front Desk and Bell/Valet
- Highly organized multitasker who thrives in a fast-paced environment
- An open, curious mind with a desire to deliver a tailored guest experience. Must have a hospitality mindset, from arrival to departure, front of house and back of house
- Willingness to learn and accommodate changes in the industry
- Comfortable with candid & open direction and ability to act upon feedback, while keeping guest and employee experience top of mind
- Exceptional communication skills with a keen eye for detail
- Current knowledge of local area is preferred
