An Assistant Football Coach supports the head coach in all aspects of the football program, including coaching players, recruiting prospects, and managing administrative tasks. They work to improve player skills, develop game strategies, and ensure players adhere to NCAA rules and guidelines. Instruct players in techniques, strategies, and rules of the game.
Conduct video analysis and provide feedback to players. Develop and implement specific game plans and practice plans. Monitor player progress and offer individualized instruction.
Ensure player eligibility and adherence to NCAA rules. Assist with managing the team's schedule, travel, and equipment.
Coordinate with other staff members to ensure smooth program operations.
Manage and update NCAA eligibility center status for athletes. Lead junior varsity teams, if applicable. Assist with fundraising and public relations.

SEASONAL ONLY POSITION
In order to be considered for this position, applicant must currently possess a valid athletic coaching certificate, or a valid teaching certificate issued by the Florida Department of Education.
