Assistant Football Coach

Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Football Coach for a seasonal position at Oakville Middle/High School. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coaching and developing young athletes, as well as a deep knowledge of the game of football.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Coach in all aspects of the football program
- Help plan and execute practices and game strategies
- Provide instruction and feedback to players on technique, skills, and game performance
- Attend all team meetings, practices, and games
- Help supervise team activities, including weight training and conditioning sessions
- Foster a positive team culture and sportsmanship among players
- Assist with equipment inventory and maintenance
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Coach or Athletic Director

Requirements:
- Prior coaching experience at the high school level or higher preferred
- Deep knowledge of the game of football, including offensive and defensive strategies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to motivate and inspire players
- Ability to work collaboratively with the Head Coach, other assistant coaches, and school staff
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends as required by the football schedule
- Must pass all background checks required by the school district
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from practices and games
