Join our team. Leland Management is seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Food and Beverage Manager for a private community restaurant and bar in the Kissimmee, FL area. Role Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Food and Beverage Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations of the restaurant and bars.
  • Supervise and train staff to ensure exceptional customer service and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with department heads to coordinate activities and maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
  • Manage inventory, procurement, and vendor relationships to optimize cost efficiency and product quality.
  • Support in implementing marketing strategies and promotional events to attract and retain customers.
  • Monitor financial performance and assist in preparing inventory and financial reports.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
Requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or assistant management role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a similar multifaceted venue.
  • Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team building and staff development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers, staff, and management.
  • Solid understanding of food and beverage operations, including inventory management and cost control.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• 2+ years' work experience in food and beverage industry.

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus.

• Certification in Food Handling and Safety.

• Certification in T.I.P.S./alcohol awareness training

Salary Description

$60,000 to $65,000
