Assistant Facility Security Officer

An active Top Secret Clearance is required for consideration for this opportunity Zachary Piper Solutions is in need of an Assistant Facility Security Officer (AFSO) to support a large United States Air Force (USAF) program that is based out of the Pentagon. The AFSO will support the Air Force Client while engaging with stakeholders both domestically and internationally. This position is fully on-site based out of the Pentagon in Arlington, VA . An active Top Secret clearance is required for consideration to this opportunity. Responsibilities Include : Develop and maintain USAF information security, industrial security, personnel security, PII, and SAF Security. Write and revise key documentation on behalf of the client. There will be many opportunities to write key DoD strategies, documents, papers, and reports that will be utilized by the client's entire organization. Manage Air Force Client program appointment, scheduling, and recalls for A4 programs. Process security clearances, verify document signatures and processes, ensure timely execution of security processes Analyze requirements, strategize solutions, and pitch proposals to the client on new IT capabilities within the client's technology portfolio Requirements Include: Bachelors Degree
3+ years of experience in Security or Office Sustainment type positions 5+ years of Air Force experience Experience with SAP Security- Department of Defense Manual 5205.07, Volume 1, Special Access Program (SAP) Security Manual: General Procedures Writing Skills: Strong writing capability and has interest in writing. Prior experience in technical or formal writing (proposal work, technical reports, whitepapers, thesis, etc.) should be mentioned Client Relationship Management: ability to build lasting relationships with the client Active Top Secret Clearance required Compensation Includes: $90,000 - $110,000 depending on experience Health, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Paid Holidays, Sick Leave if required by Law This posting opens on 4/3/2025 and will remain open for at least 30 days from the posting date
