Job Description The Catering Coordinator is responsible for supervision and support in planning catering events of varying sizes and levels in both central and satellite locations. Ensures that all catering brand standards and initiatives are consistently achieved.
Job Responsibilities - Foster a strong safety culture, ensuring a work environment where no one gets hurt.
- Assist in drafting and executing Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) based on event specifications, ensuring all details are clearly outlined and effectively communicated to the catering team. Responsible for accurately recording and tracking all event-related payments.
- Oversee the setup of food and beverage stations, tables, and necessary equipment for events.
- Support the arrangement and presentation of food displays, ensuring accuracy in labeling and listing any potential allergens.
- Monitor guest needs throughout events, providing prompt and excellent customer service.
- Manage administrative tasks such as responding to catering inquiries via phone and email.
- Maintain accurate records of event details, tracking changes and updates as needed.
- Collaborate with leadership and assist in additional catering duties as assigned.
Qualifications - Minimum 3 years of experience in the hospitality industry (preferred, not required)
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Food Safety Handler Certification (preferred, not required)
- Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service using Aramark's standard service model
- Ability to maintain an effective working relationship with other departments to a unified food service experience for all customers
- Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lb.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
