(Contingent upon available funding): 60,000.00 - 90,000.00, Salary Work Schedule: M-F, 8am-5pm; occasional evening or weekend hours, particularly during Final Exam weeks Faculty Appt Period: Job Summary: Assist the Associate Director in coordinating day-to-day operations of the OSU-Stillwater Testing Center . Coordinate and participate in the delivery of local, state, and national tests. Train, supervise, evaluate, and promote professional development of testing center staff. Support and advance the mission of OSU and the OSU Testing Center by providing high-quality testing services and technology support adhering to NCTA professional standards. Help implement technology projects and initiatives, including computer hardware and software purchases, upgrades, installations, support, and scanning technology services for testing. Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business (Management, Business Administration, or MSIS), Education, or related field.
Three years' related experience in an academic or professional testing center and supervising employees.
Rigorous attention to detail required.
Basic computer and Microsoft Office software knowledge.
Basic desktop computer support.
Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
Proctoring responsibilities also require significant walking to and from test seating areas.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Management, Business Administration, MSIS, Higher Education Leadership, or related field.
Four years' related experience working in a management position at an academic testing center at a two- or four-year academic institution or in a professional testing center. Familiarity with testing vendors and related technologies and practices. Experience working with faculty members, presenting or publishing on testing center management and practices, and reporting in higher education. Experience with RegisterBlast appointment scheduling software.
Experience working with and troubleshooting testing software, hardware, and other computer and test scanning technology.
