OVERVIEW: A nationally accredited non-profit leader in mental health and substance use disorder treatment seeks an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to ensure efficient patient care and compliance with healthcare standards.
SUMMARY: The ADON will support the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, and implementing healthcare services, supervising nursing staff, managing clinical operations, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Supervise nursing staff and assist in hiring and training. Manage clinical operations and develop care plans. Update nursing policies and assist in budget management. Conduct patient rounds and address complaints. Ensure adequate medical supplies and maintain accurate records. Participate in quality improvement activities. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred; relevant experience may substitute. Two years in addiction nursing and supervisory experience preferred.
