Job Summary:

The Assistant Director of Football Business & Scouting Operations will provide support to the Director of Football Business with all team related activities. Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to development, execution and daily administration of creative strategies for recruiting, retention and scouting in collaboration with the Head Coach Director of Football Business, Team Coordinators, Director of Recruiting Operations and the Director of On-Campus Recruiting.

Education & Experience

Position Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Sports Management or related field.

Five years experience in football operations, scouting or professional sports management

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in Business, Finance, Sports Management or related field

Financial acumen and negotiation skills: experience managing roster budget, contract negotiations, and overall budget management.
Extensive experience in college football scouting, administration or professional sports management.
Strategic thinker who can balance short-term needs with long-term program and roster building.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency with advanced sports analytics, statistics and data driven decision making.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities, ability to manage diverse personalities.
Understanding of NCAA rules and regulations.
Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with coaches, players, agents, and university administrators.
Marketing and Public Relations experience.
Ability to make decision under pressure.
