Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Controller located in North Tonawanda, NY. The Assistant Controller will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Day-to-day tasks will include preparing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, monitoring exchange rates and GST/HST collection on Canadian sales, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and supporting the implementation of financial policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Experience in preparing financial statements
- Understanding of compliance with financial regulations
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with financial software and systems
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA or CMA certification is a plus
