We are working with the Controller of a Construction and Infrastructure company based in New York City. They are looking for a dynamic Assistant Controller to join their organization and lead a small team. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee Month-end close and all internal and external reporting packages
- Supervises and prepares journal entries, including tax and allocation entries
- Reviews and prepares foreign currency transaction/translation entries
- Substantiates and reviews for accuracy expenditures and expense reports.
- Assists with the preparation of financial analyses, outlooks, and forecasts
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years of Corporate Accounting experience including 1+ years of Supervision
- 2+ years of Public Accounting
- Must be tech savvy with exposure to ERP systems
PREFERENCES:
- CPA
- Experience with consolidations
- Experience within internal controls
