Salary of 35,000
Mix of early and late shifts
Duties and Responsibilities
Organises and supervises food preparation and service
Ensures catering services are operated in accordance with all relevant food hygiene and health and safety process and procedures
Leads and manages catering staff team on a day-to-day basis
Supports the Catering Manager in ensuring all catering staff are suitably trained to perform their duties to required standards
Maintains effective control systems and records of stock
Maintains and rotates appropriate stock levels, ensures minimum wastage of product
Successfully resolves customer and employee complaints
Develops effective client relationships through regular communication
Attends training as and when required, training may be scheduled outside normal working hours
Compliance with all Statutory and Company health and safety practices and procedures, including manual handling
Adheres to all company rules, regulations, policies, procedures and provisions of contract
As and when required, carries out additional tasks concerned with the operation of the Establishment
For Education Establishments, compliance with Statutory and Company Safeguarding regulations
Education, Training & Qualifications
NVQ in supervision and leadership
Food preparation experience, Food hygiene certificate desirable
For Education Establishments, satisfactory Enhanced DBS Disclosure or security clearance and cleared Barred List Check essential
