Overview: Provide 7-Eleven Field Operators with professional asset protection services by conducting timely, comprehensive, accurate investigations and research to preserve revenue and profit enhancement in a proactive manner. Responsibilities: u2022 Conduct investigations and research, utilizing corporate reports and Exception Based Reporting. u2022 Then develop professional, comprehensive cases and research packages that reveal the fraud or misreporting. u2022 Take the cases through their completion assuring that the appropriate recoveries, documentation and follow up are completed. u2022 Perform the various tasks and assignments required to carry out the Asset. u2022 Protection Department's Four Pillar Strategy for Revenue and Profit Assurance, Shortage Control, Incident-Investigation Management and the Safety Program. u2022 Advise, train and counsel the field operators in shortage control, theft and other asset protection related areas. u2022 Establish and maintain relationships with local law enforcement, serving as 7-Eleven's representative to the local municipalities. u2022 Assist law enforcement and 7-Eleven's third-party insurance administrator securing evidence and statements. u2022 Provide immediate response, support and professional consultation to field operations following critical incidents of crime or disaster that impact store associates, franchisees, guests, licensees and 7-Eleven assets. Qualifications: u2022 Associates Degree or equivalent experience u2022 5 years retail operations-related experience, multi-unit preferred u2022 Thorough understanding of retail Accounting and Financial Management u2022 Analytics, reporting management experience is required u2022 Excellent verbal and written communication skills u2022 The ability to successfully train and communicate one-on-one or to a large audience u2022 The ability to successfully learn and excel using an Exception Based Reporting Tool u2022 Ability to conduct professional investigative interviews u% remote role u2022 Travel u-70% If an hourly or salary range is included in this ad it represents the range 7-Eleven in good faith believes is the range of compensation for this role at the time of this posting.
