Job Summary:

The Asset Manager & Development Associate is responsible for overseeing and optimizing a portfolio of real estate assets while also assisting in the development of new projects. This role requires a strong understanding of asset management, financial analysis, real estate development, and project coordination. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining and improving asset performance while contributing to the growth of the organization's development pipeline.

Key Responsibilities:

Asset Management:
  • Oversee the financial and operational performance of real estate assets.
  • Monitor lease agreements, rental income, and tenant relations.
  • Conduct financial analysis and reporting to identify opportunities for value enhancement.
  • Work with property management teams to ensure assets are well-maintained and operating efficiently.
  • Develop and implement strategies to maximize asset value and investment returns.
  • Track and manage capital expenditures and budgeting for assets.
  • Create Investor packages to share updates of all properties
Development Assistance:
  • Support site selection, feasibility studies, and due diligence processes.
  • Assist with project planning, scheduling, and coordination.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and consultants to advance development projects.
  • Conduct financial modeling and pro forma analysis for new developments.
  • Assist in securing entitlements, permits, and approvals for development projects.
  • Support financing efforts, including preparing materials for investors and lenders.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in asset management, real estate development, or related fields.
  • Strong financial modeling and analysis skills.
  • Knowledge of real estate markets, valuation, and investment strategies.
  • Experience with property management and lease negotiations.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling software, and real estate databases.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Real Estate, Finance, or Business Administration (MBA).
  • Experience working with mixed-use, commercial, or residential real estate portfolios.
  • Familiarity with development processes, zoning laws, and permitting.
Compensation & Benefits:
  • Base Salary: $70,000
  • Performance-based bonuses.
