We are currently looking for a Full Time Asset Management Technician I to join our Asset Management Section team located at the Oklahoma Optical Lab working 8:00AM-5:00PM - Mo Tu We Th Fr.
Summary:
To provide fiscal and technical assistance to the Asset Management Manager and Asset Management Senior/Lead Technician in all areas relating to Asset Management for the Chickasaw Nation.
Responsibilities:
Provides assistance to the Asset Management Lead technician I in determining equipment needs for the various departments of the Chickasaw Nation
Assists the Asset Mgmt. Lead Technician I in maintaining accountability for all tribal property held/or acquired within the custodial areas; also, maintains accountability records and remains accountable for all tribal assets within his/her custodial location until relived by formal transfer of accountability or other official act
Assists the Asset Mgmt. Lead Technician I in conducting physical inventories of personal property for the annual comprehensive audit
Analyzes physical inventory report for missing property and works directly with the authorize delegate until the missing property can be located or a police report is issued
Assists the Asset Mgmt. Lead Technician I in disposing of assets in the excess warehouse which are deemed no longer usable; makes reassignments of excess property to other Chickasaw entities
Maintains and updates the fixed asset computer software and hard copy files for all new, surplus/excess, donated, and disposed/salvaged equipment
Assists the Lead Technician I in the Central Supply (official stationery) function for the Chickasaw Nation
Provides first class customer service - courteous and helpful to all internal and external customer types
