Asset Care, Maintenance & Reliability (AMR) Manager
We are seeking an experienced Asset Care, Maintenance & Reliability (AMR) Manager to oversee plant maintenance operations, ensuring the efficient delivery of services that meet industry standards. This onsite role reports directly to the Plant Manager and requires strong leadership in managing a team of mechanical and electrical technicians, maintenance supervisors, planners, schedulers, and engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all EHS regulations and standards.
- Maintain a reliable and environmentally sound facility by proactively planning and scheduling maintenance work, executing Management of Change (MOC) procedures, and establishing compliance policies.
- Develop and maintain asset and equipment reliability programs, ensuring adherence to AS9100 QMS requirements through audits and corrective actions.
- Lead the development of work procedures, providing coaching and training to build a highly skilled maintenance team.
- Oversee CMMS audit activities, conduct root cause analyses, and implement corrective actions to enhance system reliability.
- Support technical and facilities capital projects while driving the progression of the Reliability & Maintainability Roadmap.
- Improve planning and scheduling of maintenance activities, ensuring minimal production disruptions due to equipment failures.
- Participate in early equipment management initiatives to support modernization efforts.
- Develop and implement a three-year Maintenance, Facilities, and Equipment plan while evaluating and addressing unplanned downtime trends.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- 10+ years of experience in maintenance and reliability, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of work management processes, including planning, scheduling, execution, and order closure.
- Expertise in reliability concepts, such as equipment criticality risk ranking analysis, FMEA, preventive and predictive maintenance, and root cause analysis.
- US Citizenship or Permanent Resident status required.
- Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) certification and knowledge of Society of Maintenance and Reliability Professionals (SMRP) standards preferred.
- Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
