Assembly Operator Compensation
- The pay for this position is $18.20 per hour
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Assembly Operator Highlights
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
- The required availability for this position is Monday thru Friday 7am to 3:30pm EST
Assembly Operator Responsibilities
- Performs any combination of tasks involved in the fabrication, manufacture, assembly, testing and packaging of medical devices as well as setting up, operating, performing maintenance on and troubleshooting equipment.
- May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications.
- Works within clearly defined SOPs and / or scientific methods and adheres to quality guidelines.
Assembly Operator Requirements
- 1+ years of assembling or manufacturing Experience
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
- Strong Computer skills, including e-mail, word processing, spreadsheet and web-based programs
- Effective orally and in writing communication, experience with motivational interviewing preferably
Assembly Operator Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years as an Assembly Operator within a medical manufacturing environment

- Using shop paperwork to complete machine assembly
- Preparing spa for final assembly and shipment
- Identify components used within the assembly process
- Perform manual assembly along a production line
- Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes and procedures to perform the manual assembly of membrane parts
- Set up and operate various assembly machines for the assembly of precision aircraft quality blind fasteners
- Perform lifting and carrying to the assembly table
- Specializing in molding and assembly of bird feeders
- Identify product that fail tests or tolerance levels
