Job Description:
Responsible for the safe, efficient operation of simple automated assembly machines used in the production of medical devices. Working in a cleanroom environment, this role performs repetitive tasks such as machine start-up, basic troubleshooting, and product inspection to ensure high-quality output. The operator monitors equipment, interprets basic machine faults, and completes necessary documentation to maintain compliance with production and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor simple automated machines with minimal alignment requirements
- Perform start-up procedures and work order setups in electronic systems
- Conduct basic troubleshooting and restart machines as needed
- Inspect finished products for quality, and package, label, and count items
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Accurately complete production and quality records
- Demonstrate flexibility in operating multiple simple machines
Requirements:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Basic computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel preferred)
- Ability to read and follow procedures and safety guidelines
- Able to perform visual inspections with or without magnification
- Experience in a cleanroom or manufacturing environment is a plus
