Job Summary:
As a General Assembly Line Worker at Legend Manufacturing, you will play a crucial role in the production of our trailers. You will be responsible for various tasks involved in the assembly process, working with a team to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality. The ideal candidate should possess experience in one or more of the following areas: carpentry, welding (MIG and TIG), fabrication, electrical systems, sheet metal handling, and power tool operation.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble components of trailers, including frames, walls, roofs, and electrical systems, based on detailed blueprints and instructions.
  • Operate power tools such as drills, saws, grinders, and sanders to perform cutting, drilling, and fastening tasks.
  • Inspect and ensure the quality of completed work, troubleshooting any issues or defects.
  • Work closely as a production team to meet daily targets and maintain an organized, efficient work environment.
  • Follow all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
Requirements:

Desired candidates looking to apply should have experience with one or more of the following:

  • Carpentry: Ability to work with wood and metal to create frames, trim, and other structural components.
  • Welding (MIG/TIG): Proficiency in both MIG and TIG welding to join metal parts and structures.
  • Fabrication: Experience in cutting, shaping, and assembling metal parts to precise specifications.
  • Electrical: Knowledge of basic electrical systems and wiring for installation of lighting, brakes, and other trailer components.
  • Sheet Metal Handling: Experience in working with sheet metal, including cutting, bending, and fitting into place.
  • Power Tools: Competence in using a wide range of power tools for cutting, grinding, fastening, and drilling.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, construction, or a similar assembly role is preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Good physical stamina, as the role involves lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • A commitment to workplace safety and following all protocols.
