Our client, a generic pharmaceutical company is seeking an ASRS Mechanic Assistant to join their team on a 6-month renewable contract.


The ASRS Mechanic Assistant is responsible for maintaining/carrying out a preventive maintenance program for the ASRS on daily basis and to monitor the running condition of all robotics components inside the ASRS.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues on the ASRS
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues on the ASRS.
  • Ability to identify, maintain, and troubleshoot Motor Controls including motor starters, Variable Frequency Drives, DC drives, and standard electrical components and advanced automation controls systems.

  • Qualifications:
  • Able to use power tools
  • Able to follow instruction according to the SOP.
  • Must be able to understand the various levels of automation and the associated systems integration and standards
  • Strong planning, organization and prioritization skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction and supervision.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with departmental staff, both written and verbal
  • Leadership and motivate skills with strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Must be legally able to work in the US without requiring sponsorship
  • Must have reliable transportation and must be able to work overtime when required
