Position Overview: We are on the lookout for an energetic and motivated individual to step into the role of Aspiring Store Manager with a passion for the GNC "Live Well" philosophy-living strong, long, and fit. Your enthusiasm for health and wellness, combined with your business acumen, will be key in providing personalized solutions to our customers.
Key Responsibilities: - Lead, train, and motivate your team to deliver outstanding customer service.
- Manage daily store operations, including product oversight and business performance.
- Ensure a welcoming shopping experience through excellent visual merchandising that makes products easy to access and buy.
- Achieve personal sales targets and coach sales associates to help them reach their potential.
- Recruit, hire, and provide ongoing feedback to your team members to foster a culture of growth and development.
- Handle store opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and inventory management, in compliance with GNC protocols.
- Represent GNC at community events to promote our mission and initiatives.
Working Conditions: - Must be able to stand or walk for up to eight hours a day.
- Frequent reaching and bending, including motions both below the waist and above shoulder level.
- Repetitive hand and finger movements are required as well as reaching with hands and arms.
- Occasional lifting of weights up to 40 pounds and frequent lifting up to 20 pounds.
- Ability to climb ladders and work in varying temperatures (50 - 85 degrees).
- Utilize a computer for about 60% of your workday.
Store Managers are expected to work five (5) days for a total of forty (40) hours a week, adhering to the following guidelines:
- Work two evenings weekly until closing, one weekend evening, and another night.
- For strip center managers, a full shift on Saturdays is required.
- Mall managers should work peak business days, including both Saturday and Sunday.
- Commit to at least one full Sunday per month.
- For downtown managers, work during the lunch hours (11 am to 2 pm, Monday-Friday) is expected.
- Managers are required to work all major U.S. holidays when the store is operational.

Compensation: GNC provides a competitive hourly rate ranging from $18.00 to $22.00, along with opportunities for additional earnings through our Individual Sales Incentive Plan. Pay levels are determined by various factors, including education, experience, and local wage requirements, allowing for growth in your career with us.
