We are seeking a skilled and dynamic leader to manage our Cybersecurity Operations Center (SOC) focused on delivering Attack Surface Management (ASM) as a managed service. This role will lead a team of cybersecurity analysts responsible for proactively identifying, triaging, and addressing vulnerabilities and exposures for NetSPI ASM customers. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in cybersecurity, scaling high performing teams, excellent leadership skills, and a proven ability to enhance operational efficiency while maintaining superior service delivery.
Operations Leadership role responsibilities: - People management:
- Inspire and actively lead team daily focusing on positive and proactive internal and external (customer) engagement
- Manage ASM Ops team, including regional leads, day to day
- Mentor and develop team as a whole, including leads
- Ops structure build out / maturation:
- Develop capacity/staffing model
- Lead development of KPIs to measure success
- Establish triage prioritization framework with Support team
- Work with leads to develop SOPs (playbook) for key Ops tasks
- Work with Services L1 leadership team and other senior leaders to design ASM Ops + ExPen delivery model (SOC-like model) and eventually new org structure to support Continuous ASM delivery
- On-going operations
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the ASM SOC, ensuring efficient service delivery for Attack Surface Management customers.
- Ensure KPI measurement and action by the team on a daily, weekly, monthly cadence
- Lead on-going capacity planning for ASM Ops team partnering with NetSPI Finance
- Work with leads/ASM Team to manage day to day task load for team
- Support customer onboarding / vulnerability triage, as needed
- Identify areas for improvement in operations and work with Product team to identify further automation/enhancement of operational capabilities leveraging the platform
- Customer Engagement:
- Serve as a point of escalation and subject matter expert (SME) for key customers regarding their ASM programs.
- Work with customers to capture product related feedback, for communication to NetSPI EASM product managers
- Ensure consistent, high-quality communication of vulnerability findings, risks, and remediation recommendations to customers.
- Collaborate with customers to understand their unique business environments and tailor ASM services to meet their specific needs.
- Training & onboarding:
- Lead needed training development and execution for operators/consultants
- Lead development of resource onboarding
- Support involvement/support:
- Lead team in information gathering on ASM/platform-related bug fix
- Ensure Ops team is responsive to customer questions around findings, acting with a sense of urgency
Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of experience within the cybersecurity industry, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role
- Previous experience in a SOC-like environment
- Deep domain knowledge of PTaaS and ASM
- Strong technical expertise with the ability to collaborate effectively with both services and engineering teams
- Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
