Overview: We're looking for a dependable and detail-oriented
Stockroom Clerk to join our team in the Ascension area. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who takes pride in organization, enjoys working independently, and is committed to maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse. This position requires some experience in all warehouse duties including receiving and stocking inventory, recording stock locations, counting inventory and pulling production kits. Some computer experience as well as having used material handling equipment and having the capability to become certified to drive a forklift are all preferred qualities.
Key Responsibilities: - Receive, stock, and organize inventory and materials
- Record stock locations and perform accurate inventory counts
- Assemble and distribute production kits to internal teams
- Support subcontract receiving and shipping functions
- Operate and maintain material handling equipment safely
- Track inventory and enter data using internal systems
- Maintain cleanliness and safety throughout the warehouse
- Assist with printing/distributing job and sales order picklists
- Provide backup support across departments as needed
What We're Looking For: - Must have a High School Diploma or G.E.D. Technical school or warehouse experience a plus.
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 80 lbs occasionally, with assistance
- Forklift experience is preferred but not necessary. However, you must be able to become forklift certified.
- Be comfortable using warehouse equipment and basic computer systems
- Be able to follow safety standards and company procedures
- Maintain a reliable attendance record
- Possess a courteous, professional attitude with all team members, AGM Management and visitors
