Our client, a leading technology solutions provider, is seeking an AS400 Programmer to join their team. As an AS400 Programmer, you will be part of the development team supporting innovative software solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong collaboration skills, a problem-solving mindset, and a commitment to quality, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: AS400 Programmer

Location: Columbus, OH (Remote but EST schedule)

Pay Range: $70hr

Arrangement: 6mo contract

Candidates: USCitizen or GCHolders this role is not open to C2C or Visa holders

What's the Job?
  • Execute product specification, system design, development, and system integration.
  • Develop new product concepts and prototypes, delivering innovative software solutions.
  • Conduct research on new technologies and design individual software components.
  • Participate in product and program collaboration to enhance team outcomes.
  • Troubleshoot and fix problems while providing root cause analysis in a timely manner.
What's Needed?
  • 8+ years of experience in programming with RPG IV, RPGILE, RPG Free, CL, CLLE, COBOL, DDS, DDL, and Embedded SQL.
  • 8+ years of experience in database management, specifically with DB2 SQL, SQL Triggers, and Stored Procedures.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in web service models such as RESTful Services, SOAP, JSON, XML, OAuth, and Token-Based Security.
  • Ability to exhibit courteous, ethical, and professional behavior while interacting with customers.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills to convey complex ideas clearly.
