About the Role

We're hiring an AI Engineer to help bring deep AI/ML expertise into how the company builds software. We're looking for an AI-native engineer - someone who has spent a significant part of their career applying AI/ML to real-world software problems and views tools like LLMs, Copilot/Cursor, and fine-tuned models as core parts of the modern software stack.

You'll combine strong software engineering skills with applied AI experience to:

Build production software using AI/ML techniques

Mentor other engineers on AI-first engineering practices

Work with leadership to evolve engineering processes to maximize AI leverage

This is a hands-on role. Candidates with fewer than 8 years of experience will be considered if their background is deeply focused on AI/ML and modern software development.

What You'll Do

Design, build, and deploy production software that integrates AI/ML approaches

Lead by example in applying AI-first engineering practices and mentoring teammates

Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver impactful solutions

Help evolve team practices, tools, and workflows to better leverage AI

Participate in engineering hiring efforts

Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

What We're Looking For

BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience

5-10+ years of professional software engineering experience (open to less if deeply AI-focused)

Experience building production software using AI/ML methods and LLM tooling (e.g., Copilot, Cursor, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, RAG)

Proven ability to design and build scalable, reliable systems

Experience with cloud infrastructure (GCP preferred)

Strong communication and mentorship skills

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Preferred:

Prior experience in healthcare or pharmacy domains

Experience leading engineering projects

Familiarity with our stack:

Microservices in GCP using NestJS, TypeORM, TypeScript

React Native (web and mobile with Expo)

Legacy components in C / Azure

Ops tooling: Airflow, MySQL, CI/CD with Github, automated testing with Cypress, BrowserStack, Appium
