ART DEPARTMENT
The Art Department offers classes in both visual and performing arts. Within the visual arts, we offer traditional and digital art forms. The Fine Arts curriculum for middle and high school fosters creativity, technical skill, and artistic expression through a diverse and engaging program. Students explore a range of disciplines, including drawing, painting, sculpture, digital art, and mixed media, while developing a strong foundation in artistic techniques, principles of design, and art history.
At the middle school level, the curriculum emphasizes exploration and skill-building, encouraging students to experiment with materials and cultivate personal expression. As students progress into high school, they refine their artistic voice through advanced coursework, critical analysis, and portfolio development. Integrated studies connect art to culture, history, and contemporary issues, fostering a deeper appreciation for visual storytelling and creative problem-solving.
Through hands-on projects, critiques, and collaborative opportunities, the program nurtures confidence, innovation, and a lifelong appreciation for the arts, preparing students for further artistic study or a deeper engagement with visual culture.
