An inspiring and well-respected secondary school in Cheltenham is seeking an imaginative and committed Art Teacher to join its thriving Creative Arts department. Key Aspects of the Role:

  • Teaching Art across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with A-Level opportunities for experienced candidates

  • Guiding students through a variety of artistic disciplines including drawing, painting, sculpture, and design

  • Encouraging experimentation, originality, and the development of a personal style

  • Supporting GCSE and A-Level coursework, sketchbook development, and exhibition preparation

  • Leading or assisting with extracurricular art clubs, workshops, or public art events

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status and a specialism in Art, Fine Art, or a related discipline

  • A passion for creative education and empowering students through artistic expression

  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire diverse learners

  • Strong knowledge of assessment frameworks in Art & Design

  • A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for contributing to a successful team
