Burpee is looking for a dynamic Art Director to join our Brand Creative Team. The ideal candidate should possess a strong eye for composition, typography, and visual storytelling, along with experience in photo and video art direction. You will oversee on-set productions, guiding teams to create high-quality, brand-aligned imagery and videos. Additionally, the Art Director will assist the Chief Brand Officer in maintaining and evolving Burpee's brand identity, ensuring consistency across all graphic design assets, marketing materials, and digital content.
Location: Warminster, PA & Doylestown, PA. Onsite M-F 8-5pm.
Role & Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with the Chief Brand Officer and cross-functional teams to create visually impactful, on-brand creative that meets business goals and objectives.
- Develop and lead brand photography and videography initiatives, both product and campaign, ensuring alignment with Burpee's strategic goals and brand identity.
- Present innovative concepts and final executions to leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Help shape and evolve digital brand standards and templates to maintain consistency.
- Stay up-to-date with trends in email, social, and display marketing to drive innovation and ensure the brand stays ahead.
- You foster a collaborative team environment, encouraging creative excellence in every project.
Experience: - 5+ years of experience within an agency and/or in-house team. A portfolio with creative, relevant work for which you were primarily responsible is required.
- Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia Design or a related course of study
- You tackle projects head-on and can spot opportunities, overcome obstacles, and adjust quickly when necessary.
- In-depth knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
- You can quickly grasp visual brand identity and voice, with an ability to push into new visual territory while staying within brand guidelines.
- You possess a strong sense of typography, layout, and hierarchy, along with a keen eye for photography and illustration.
- You're well-versed in the production cycle and process, including on-set experience.
- You can quickly understand a brand's identity and voice, with the capability to explore new territory while remaining consistent with the brand's copy guidelines.
- You, possess a natural curiosity, and are a proactive self-starter, constantly seeking new opportunities and solutions.
