Description Konami Gaming is looking for an Art Designer III (iGaming) to join our team.
This position is responsible for researching, designing, and developing illustration and animation for online casino games. The role will support both new iGaming titles and games ported from Class III, ensuring a seamless transition of visual assets and gameplay experience across platforms.
The primary focus for the first year will be enhancing pre-existing games to support seasonal and holiday themes. Additionally, this role will assist in creating new game themes for online (HTML5), support localization efforts, contribute to UI/UX design, and provide marketing asset support.
This position requires someone who can act autonomously while adhering to department and company policies. The Art Designer III will work directly with the Director of Online Product and iGaming Producer, with guidance from Art Design Management.
What you'll be doing: - Takes existing Class III land-based casino game art and ports it over to the real money gaming platform, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Supports new game themes by creating and refining characters, symbols, effects and UI elements.
- Supports seasonal and holiday-themed updates for preexisting games.
- Supports localization efforts by adapting assets for different markets.
- Designs UI/UX elements for iGaming interfaces, ensuring clarity and player engagement.
- Provides marketing support by creating promotional assets, including game icons, social media content, and other visuals.
- Collaborate with iGaming Producer to finalize artwork, review feedback, and iterate quickly.
- Prepares and optimizes assets for online game implementation, ensuring compatibility with various devices and technical requirements.
- Works within production deadlines and understands online game development processes.
- Follows company art direction and pipeline while proposing creative enhancements.
- Identifies opportunities to improve workflows and asset creation efficiency.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

QualificationsWhat we'll want you to have: - Bachelor' degree in Computer Art, Graphic Design or similar field required. Master's Degree and or Art institute certification or awards desirable.
- 6+ years or more related experience and/or training (3-5 years related experience if Master's Degree). Slot gaming experience preferred.
- Ability to communicate professionally and efficiently, both verbal and written with all levels of the business.
- Required to obtain and retain Gaming licensure(s).
- Strong life drawing skills and experience. Understanding of interactive game art standards (theme, color, appeal, user interface design). Photoshop software experience required, Illustrator, After Effects, Flash/Animate, TexturePacker, Spine 2D, and Maya 3D software experience desirable. Knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods.
Work Environment: - Full-time / 40+ hours per week. Must be flexible to work overtime, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Must be comfortable working in an area with limited working space for long hours with the ability to remain seated at computer terminal for extended periods of time. Extreme repetitive motion using keyboard, mouse, and telephone. Must be able to work at assigned location to enable direct communications and interactions with team members, management, and others as necessary, unless traveling for a business-related purpose.
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a high-stress, fast-paced, and high-pressure environment while maintaining high standards of accuracy, paying attention to detail, and meeting assigned deadlines. Demonstrates high integrity, trust, and strict confidentiality. Ability to maintain excellent communication and a positive, respectful, and professional attitude and relationship with clients, employees, peers, co-workers, all levels of management, and all outside organizations conducting business or otherwise interacting with the company. Ability to always act autonomously while adhering to overall department and company policies and procedures.
- Position shall work primarily in a smoke free office environment. The noise level is low to moderate. Position shall maintain a cubicle or office in close proximity to other cubicles and offices.
- Position must attend monthly Field Research trips to casinos or as needed. Must be able to tolerate areas containing varying noise and temperature levels, illumination, vibration, crowds, and air quality. Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondhand smoke.
