RGO Software Engineer
Remote (CST)
6-month contract
Pay Rate: $52.00 to $58.00 per hr.
Our client is looking for an ARGO Software Engineer. This person can work remotely, they'll need to work Central Standard Timezone. This individual will oversee the development and installation of new hardware and software in the Sales and Service platform using ARGO banking platform, they will also assist in new development. They need to have experience with Front and Back-end web-based development as they will design and deploy new applications and enhancements to existing applications, software, and operating systems. They are using ARGO 5.4 service pack, transaction 6.0 (they'll need 5.0 or higher).
Primary Responsibilities
- Oversees the development and installation of new hardware and software
- Day to day work, defect fixes, new feature releases, everything dev-related.
- Installs and configures systems and other software
- Tests installed software for malfunction detection
- Identifies and resolves business systems issues
- Designs and deploys new applications and enhancements to existing applications, software, and operating systems
- Measures effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems
- Develops and implements strategies to improve systems
- Monitors and tests system performance
- Typically has full ownership of a process
- May act as a procedural expert
- May lead the work of junior-level associates
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field
- 5 years of web-based development experience
- 2+ years of ARGO banking platform (ARGO DATA) experience is required
- 2+ years of ARGO Sales and Service or web-based Teller experience is required
Bonus Skills:
- SQL Server (how to write SQL queries)
