Are you eager to advance your agricultural career by gaining hands-on experience in both the U.S. and Argentina? This one-of-a-kind Farm Manager role offers the chance to gain hands-on experience with diverse growing conditions and farming techniques. You will be based in Howe, Indiana , while traveling to Buenos Aires and Mendoza, Argentina for approximately two weeks each month during the southern growing season (October-March). This role provides a rare opportunity to expand your expertise, develop global agricultural insights, and contribute to a progressive farming operation.

We offer compensation highly dependent on your background and experience. Benefits include health & dental insurance, paid time off, disability benefits, 401k, and life insurance. This position does have peak hours during plant and harvest including long hours and weekends but sticks to a 40-45 hour work week during the winter months.

Potato farming experience is valuable but not required; We are willing to train the right individual who is eager to learn.

Key Responsibilities:
•   Operate farm equipment throughout the growing season, ensuring efficient operations to maximize yields and profitability
•   Lead individuals and teams in the operational planting, growing, and harvesting of a variety of crops
•   Coordinate with the agronomy team on plant health and agronomic plan for the season
•   Maintain irrigation and ensure appropriate water and fertigation levels
•   Coordinate with local ag retail locations on spray programs
•   Ensure equipment is maintained
•   Collect and assess operational data to assist leadership in improving organizational efficiency
•   Actively participate in selection, onboarding and development of seasonal employees
•   Coach team members in order to assist them in accomplishing organizational, professional, and personal goals
•   Manage seasonal employees and assist with hiring and performance management
