About the Position: Tito's Handmade Vodka is seeking an experienced individual with a passion for sales to join our team. The Area Sales Manager role is responsible for supporting the State Sales Manager with the annual sales plan, managing sales resources, identifying sales initiatives, and other sales solicitation support activities as necessary.
Job Responsibilities: - Helps the Manager construct an annual plan and is responsible for managing all aspects of plan execution within their given area (Geographic or Channel)
- Works in the market with the Distributor team to ensure full execution of the annual plan
- Train, lead, and develop the sales staff as well as the wholesale partner
- Establish themselves as the "go-to" person for problem-solving and action planning for large customers and wholesale partners
- Identify opportunities in the market and implement regional programs to take advantage of these opportunities
- Manage regional budgets and deliver all regional sales goals
- Lead local chain headquarters calls and present Trade Sales initiatives, and identify chain-specific business opportunities
- Managers should have a good grasp of decision-making capacity, along with knowledge of when to seek advice or guidance
- Be knowledgeable of Federal and State regulations as they pertain to the promotion and sales of alcoholic beverages
- Ensure all business practices involving our brand, people, and partners stay within legal boundaries
- Need to be a clear communicator of needs, issues, opportunities, and concerns
- Gather, organize, and report needed information within the requested timelines
- Manage POS and printed marketing material inventories at distributor warehouse(s
Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of sales management experience, and at least 6 years of alcohol sales experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility
- Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience
- Results driven, enthusiastic & motivated
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Polished Sales & Presentation Skills
- Ability to coach/train/motivate/influence
- Analytical skills/strategic vision
- Pricing analysis proficiency
- Physically capable of executing all essential functions to perform the job
- Must have a valid US Driver's License, a safe driving record, and access to a reliable vehicle to be used for work purposes
- Legally able to work in USA
