As the Area Sales Manager, you're the champion of Xcel Filters in Texas, carving out territory and turning heads. From construction sites to marine ports, and deep into mining territory, you'll be the name people know - and trust - in filtration. You'll strategize, build lasting relationships, and seek out new business with laser focus. If you have a technical edge in filtration or industrial equipment and want to make a big splash in the industry, this role is your platform.
Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development
- Craft, execute, and fine-tune sales strategies to own the marine, construction, and mining markets in Texas. You're in the driver's seat.
- Hunt down new business opportunities like a pro. Prospect, network, and build your pipeline - because growth and success start with you.
- Forge strong, strategic relationships with engineers, procurement leads, and project heads - the key decision makers who see you as their go-to filtration expert.
Client Management
- Keep clients engaged, satisfied, and coming back for more. You know how to make clients feel like VIPs.
- Provide custom solutions that make clients wonder how they ever managed without you.
Market Intelligence
- Stay sharp, stay savvy. Keep a finger on the pulse of industry trends and competitive moves. With you on the ground, we're always one step ahead.
- Channel your market insights back to our product team, helping us stay on top with industry-leading solutions.
Sales Reporting:
- Forecast, track, and smash those sales targets like a seasoned pro.
- Reporting key metrics isn't just about numbers - it's about proving what winning looks like.
Experience
- 3-5 years of proven sales experience in the marine, construction, or mining industries. Filtration or industrial equipment sales? Even better.
- A history of growing market share and consistently hitting sales targets - because, at Xcel, we don't settle for average.
Skills
- Elite negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. You close deals, build trust, and leave clients impressed.
