Novaris Search are working with a growing manufacturing company of Valves & Flow Control Products to recruit an Area Sales Director in Houston, TX.
Our client is looking for a driven and result's orientated Sales leader to drive business growth across South Texas. This pivotal role focuses on building relationships, expanding the territory and securing new business opportunities across all locations in their designated area.
Responsibilities:
- Developing detailed sales plans that leverage product, marketing, and channel capabilities to achieve growth objectives
- Promoting both new and service business effectively
- Utilizing data platforms to manage business activity, including call reports, quotation logs, and order intake reports
- Coaching and mentoring Account Managers to ensure they meet annual sales targets and deliver an excellent customer experience.
- Ensuring accountability for sales performance and accurately forecasting order intake grow.
- Acting as the sales expert within the area, providing market insights and collaborating with various departments
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or years of experience in a related or equivalent role.
- +5 years of experience in sales management within Valves & Flow Control.
- Experience in training, developing, and managing employee performance.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Willing to travel up to 50% of the time.
