The Area Sales Coordinator based out of our Brooklyn, NY location will play a crucial role in facilitating sales activities and driving revenue growth within their designated region. The salary for this position is $65,000 annually. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Collaborating with the regional sales team to develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Coordinating and scheduling sales appointments, meetings, and presentations for the sales representatives.
- Providing administrative support to the sales team, including preparing sales materials, proposals, and contracts.
- Serving as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and resolving any issues or concerns promptly.
- Conducting market research and gathering intelligence on competitors and industry trends within the assigned area.
- Managing and updating customer databases and systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
- Assisting with the preparation of sales forecasts, budgets, and reports for management review.
- Monitoring sales performance metrics and providing regular reports and analysis to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborating with internal teams to develop region-specific promotional campaigns and initiatives.
Position Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred with 2+ years proven experience in sales coordination, support, or administration, within the food and beverage sector or any combination of education and experience.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to build and maintain relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and internal software
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of sales processes and techniques, with a customer-centric approach.
- Flexibility to travel within the designated area as required.
