Job Purpose:

The Area Manager is responsible for overseeing sales performance, guest experience, operations, hiring, and talent development across our stores. This role involves providing leadership and strategic direction to create environments that exceed guests' expectations-both in-store and digitally-while maximizing productivity, profitability, and sales results. The Area Manager must thoroughly understand company processes and demonstrate the ability to execute duties effectively.

Key Responsibilities include:
  • Exceeding sales targets for designated stores.
  • Enhancing company sales growth through teamwork, superior product knowledge, and exceptional guest experience.
  • Implementing engaging product selling and sampling throughout the day.
  • Fostering a guest-centric culture that prioritizes a remarkable experience and meets sales goals.
  • Managing performance metrics like mystery shop and NPS programs to enhance guest interactions.
  • Leading teams of hourly staff, including hiring, coaching, and talent retention.
  • Conducting business reporting and analyzing guest insights to address opportunity areas.
  • Overseeing store P&L, KPIs, and inventory management.
  • Controlling labor costs through effective scheduling.
  • Utilizing financial resources to proactively identify performance enhancement opportunities.
  • Ensuring cleanliness, operational excellence, and food safety standards are met.
  • Maintaining a flexible schedule that meets both guest and business requirements.
  • Ensuring compliance with all federal and local safety standards, including food safety and employee regulations.
The ideal candidate possesses:
  • 3+ years of experience as a Store Manager in retail or food service, managing at least 15 team members;
  • A passion for health and wellness;
  • Strong relationship-building skills with a focus on guest service;
  • The ability to adapt to new procedures and lead change;
  • Good judgment in decision-making and conflict resolution;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Proficiency in sales principles and guest service practices;
  • A valid Food Handler Card or state-specific equivalent;
  • A proven track record managing a Profit and Loss statement;
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel);
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restrictions.
