Overview The Area Director of Food and Beverage Operations is an opportunity for an experienced multi-unit restaurant leader to oversee the full-service restaurants, bars and entertainment venues within the Entertainment District located at The Okana resort. This individual will be the Senior Food and Beverage Leader leading three uniquely themed, full-service restaurants that include entertainment in addition to events and pop-up activations. This role is the leaders of multiple stand-alone units and leads the overall strategy, execution, and performance for the venues. Responsibilities 6+ years of experience as the leader of multi-unit venues, including upscale independent restaurants and bars; bachelor's degree preferred. Ability to interpret financial and operational data and prepare an effective business plan. Strong cost control background to effectively manage the financial performance of each outlet. Work closely with the culinary team to consistently evaluate menus and develop strategies aimed at increasing revenues. Sound time management skills and ability to manage multiple initiatives at the same time. A passion for customer service that filters down to all levels of the team. Read, write, and speak English fluently; Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other employees. Have or will complete all relevant Food & Beverage certifications. A proven track record of developing ongoing training programs that support the service standards and regulatory requirements of the resort. Has demonstrated the entrepreneurial skill set to lead the marketing and promotional efforts. Has experience working with independent marketing organizations and the on-property marketing team.
